Better Zoom is a mod for the game Terraria that adds the ability to change the zoom level of the camera in the game. This mod allows players to take a closer look at the game world, including various objects and creatures.
Description of Better Zoom
Clicking on the "Zoom" or "UIScale" text next to the sliders will reset the value to 100%. You can switch between the slider and the exact input value using the toggle button next to the "Zoom" header. The text field only accepts 3 digits, and after pressing Enter or clicking somewhere else, the change will be saved.
Important: You can enter any three-digit number in the text field, including incorrect ones, which may result in an error.
Zoom: Changing the zoom slider or pressing the "+" or "-" keys on your keyboard (not the numeric keypad) will zoom the game in or out, but instead of changing the zoom from 100% to 200%, you can change it from 30% to 1000%.
When you zoom out, no further tile loading occurs. It's not a mistake!
UI Scale (UIScale): You can now change the UI scale from 30% to 600%. You can also change it by holding down the Shift key and pressing "+" or "-" on your keyboard.
Mod settings:
Background Scale (default: "off"): This toggles whether the background should be scaled too.
Cursor Scale (Default: 1x): This changes the size of your cursor.
Minimum Zoom (Default: 0,3x): This changes the minimum zoom you can set.
Maximum Zoom (Default: 10x): This changes the maximum zoom you can set.
