That’s all true - it started on 10 without any problems. For a long time I didn’t want to switch from 7, but a lot of things started not working in the software. tModloader is tied to Microsoft's xna framework, which is clearly not updated for 7 since Microsoft no longer supports it.

Well, apparently you need Microsoft XNA. If you installed the modloader as an administrator, then it should have downloaded and installed this add-on itself. You can try reinstalling the modloader or download and install XNA separately
