"Hat Simulator" is a mod that mainly adds hats from Team Fortress 2, but also a few others inspired by cosmetics from other games or whatever looks cool. Each hat added by this mod also has its own "Unusual" version.

- Dropped by enemies after killing Eater of Worlds or Brain of Cthulu.
- There are 4 Hat Crates that can be opened to obtain different sets of hats. To open the Hat Box, you need a key, which can be purchased from the Hat Salesman.
- There is a small chance to receive a hat with an unusual effect after opening the Hat Box.

Notes: Cosmetic items include hats inspired by cosmetics from Team Fortress 2 and other games. Crates with Hats will drop from enemies after killing Eater of Worlds or Brain of Cthulu. Open Hat Boxes using keys purchased from the Hat Seller. Small chance to get a hat with an unusual effect after opening a box. The boxes are called Hat Boxes to match Terraria's naming style.
