This mod, called "ItemMagnetPlus", adds a new item called "Item Magnet", which does the obvious job of attracting items around you so you don't have to run around and collect them yourself.
Description of ItemMagnetPlus
The mod includes the following:
- Item Magnet (and corresponding buff) which
- can be crafted from simple materials (Iron/Lead)
- works while in your inventory
- can be turned on and off
- has an adjustable range and speed of attraction of objects
- improves after killing bosses
- customizable via game configuration to suit your play style
How to use:
Using Item Magnet involves the following steps:
- Left click toggles the range of action.
- Right click shows the current range (you can always check the stats in the buff tooltip).
- This right-click feature changes to "off" when the "Buff" option in the configuration is false.
- Item Magnet stats improve after killing bosses.
- If you want it to always be on or off, change the "Scale" option in the configuration to anything other than "Increase With Bosses".
Multiplayer:
This mod is compatible with multiplayer:
- The mod's configuration is completely server-side, but the buff flag is always set to 1.
- Items placed between two players with magnets will "float".
- If the "Instant" option is enabled and multiple players are within the radius of the item, it will always be attracted to the same player (this depends on the order of attachment).
- Due to the "catch delay" being set only in single player, items dropped by the player are instantly pulled towards them, which is normal behavior.
- When using the Auto Trash mod, items may not be attracted and turn into “ghost” items.
- Lost items due to this error cannot be restored.
- Report bugs in the appropriate forum thread (please).

Initial values:
- Range = 10 blocks (each direction)
- Speed = 8
- Acceleration = 8
Final values: (after killing Moonlord)
- Range = 120 (one and a half screens)
- Speed = 32
- Acceleration = 32
