Discover a new level of critical hits in the world of Terraria with the OVERCRIT!!! mod! This mod adds a unique mechanism that allows you to get a damage bonus if your critical hit chance exceeds 100%.
Description OVERCRIT!!!
- Additional Damage: Normally, if your critical strike chance is over 100%, it does nothing. However, with this mod you can get an additional damage bonus if your critical chance is above 100%. More crits, more damage!
- Damage Modes: The mod provides two damage modes. In Overcrit mode, each additional critical hit adds 0.5x to the damage multiplier, making the first Overcrit 3x damage, the second 4x, the third 5x, and so on. You can also disable this mode in the configuration and use the classic "Multiplicative Damage" mode, where the damage is doubled, quadrupled, and so on.
- Applicability to appeals: Even for summon weapons with this mod you can get a damage bonus if your critical hit chance is high enough. If you are brave enough to set up a critical chance for summons, you deserve a reward!
- Compatible with other mods: Mod “OVERCRIT!!!” Compatible with other modifications, including popular mods such as Calamity. It even interacts with the special critical damage of weapons like Calamity's Soma Prime, offering unique options for even more damage!
Note: The OVERCRIT mechanic doesn't work in PvP mode, but if your critical chance is already above 100%, you've probably already defeated your opponent.
