True Tooltips is a fully customizable mod designed to improve Terraria's tooltips. With this mod, you have full control over the color scheme, placement, and content of your tooltips, making your gaming experience more personalized and convenient.
Description of True Tooltips
- Changing the Color and Disabling Vanilla Hint Lines:
- You can change colors or disable most vanilla tooltip lines. Set alpha to 0 to disable the line completely.
- Setting the Line Position and Spacing for each Tooltip:
- Change the position and line spacing of each tooltip to suit your preferences.
Tooltip Lines:
- Shows the name, quantity and rarity of ammo, as well as the mod that adds ammo if the "Mod name next to item name" option is enabled. Also displays the ammo an item needs if the item has no ammo. Works with fishing rods and magic sticks.
- Improved price line
- Correct sale price for custom priced items, always visible, better color coding, cleaner. Replaces the vanilla price line.
- Shows the number of attacks per second. Replaces the vanilla speed string.
- Displays the speed of the item. May not always be accurate due to items firing different projectiles, changing speed in flight, etc.
- Shows repulsion as a number. Replaces the vanilla push string.
- Combines the damage and speed of weapons and ammo, and also combines the damage and speed of weapons and ammo if the "Best Knockback String" option is enabled.
Additional Features:
- Shows the full-size sprite of the item.
- Displays the mod that adds the item next to the item's name.
- Adds a background to tooltips.
- Changes the structure of tooltips for easier reading.
- Gives the text that appears when hovering over items with special rarities in the inventory or hotbar the correct color and displays the item name in the foreground instead of the background.
- Allows you to disable text blinking.
